We see the Assessment center as an ideal tool, which can help us choose an appropriate candidate to be appointed for a required job position and it does not matter if the candidate is your own employee or a new candidate. METHODOLOGY OF AN APPROACH TO ASSESSMENT CENTER
Assessment center (AC) or evaluation center is primarily used for testing and evaluating of candidates chosen for a selected work position. Thanks to AC an employer receives important information in order to be able to decide which candidate is the most appropriate. AC results give more accurate predictions of future work performance from the candidate than common job interviews. AC is not only a reliable source of information but also an interesting experience which can be beneficial to participants’ development. Participants are given an opportunity to improve their perception of their own behavior patterns, and realize what their strengths and development needs are. Participants are evaluated by observers trained for this purpose according to predetermined criteria. This process is followed by individual feedback from a coach-mentor, who provides an action plan of development for the individual for another period.
